The caribou is Canada’s emblematic animal. But in reality, it is today in serious danger of extinction in the south of the country. Victims of the loss of their habitat and under the growing threat of predators, the caribou of the Canadian Rocky Mountains are in danger. The destiny of one of these herds of these caribou is however improving, thanks to a plan of exemplary safeguarding initiated by indigenous peoples.
