Voyage of the Continents / Asia: Rising Mountains and sinking Countries

In Asia:  The Tectonic of Life and Death geologists take viewers down into the depths of the Asian continent to demonstrate how the Permian-Triassic crisis led to the Earth’s most severe extinction event, with up to 95 percent of all species disappearing from the planet. This was caused by the most powerful volcanic event of our planet’s geological history.

astounding 20% of the planet’s fresh water.
