Deeper has recieved the North Sea Film Festival Award 2012 sunday november 11th, among a selection of 60 international documentaries. Jury said : « An excellent documentary with a journalistic approach, well researched, chilling at times, appealing to both diver and a wider audience. The documentary delivers a vivid picture of the vulnerable side of the ‘macho deep divers world’ and shows the sincere motives of the main character. Science, archive/stock and re-enacting are well used and applied, added footage makes the film very complete and professional. »
